Mylifestation?

The past couple of years I have really been thinking about what my life should look like in the world I live in.  People are always going to tell you what they think you should be doing with your life.  There is all this outside pressure to become something. But I believe that I have been created with a purpose.  I believe you were created with a purpose.  I also believe that life is short.

So the question I have been wrestling with is “what should my life look like”?  What should I do in the brief moment that I am alive?

A bit about me:

  • I am 29.
  • I have been married for 5 years.
  • I have a 20 month old son.
  • I believe God created us and has a purpose for our lives.
  • I believe living life centered on us falls short what God created us for.
  • I believe Jesus Died on the cross so that we can become the people God created us for.

As I live my life, no matter where I am stationed, I want  to bring honor and glory to God.  I don’t have life all figured out.  I am not perfect.  I make mistakes (sometimes big ones) everyday.  But I have a desire to live for the God who created me.  To live for Him who desires me to be what He created me for.  I want to live my life for the Glory of God, because I believe He is worthy.

So I don’t have it all figured out and I guess that is what I am going to share with you.

  • I am going to share:
  1. what I am learning.
  2. how God is using the imperfect me to impact the lives of others.
  3. the thoughts that I have and the mistakes that I make.

I am going to open my life up to you a bit with the hope that I will encourage the imperfect you to live for the Glory of God, no matter where you are stationed in life.
