Last weekend I got away with 10 other men to focus on spiritual renewal. It was a joy.
Starting Friday night we began holding to an ancient practice called Divine Hours or Praying the Hours. We met 12 different times to pray and read scripture together. We read scripture aloud together, practiced Lecto Divina, and prayed prayers written by other Christian brothers from the past.
It was refreshing. I can’t wait to learn more about this and other ancient practices.
