So I spent some time simply reading the Word this morning and found some pretty thought provoking things.
Genesis 3- after Adam and Eve sinned God came to them, pointed out their sin, shared what the consequences would be then He cared for them like a Loving Father. He covered up their Shame by putting clothes on them. I find it interesting that even after their sin we can see His love and care. They still stood in His presence.
Genesis 4 we find Cain’s offering to God being rejected. Cain got angry with God. But God simply said “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”
Cain goes on to kill his brother, God gives the consequences for his sin, and then God shows him kindness. He then leaves the Lords presence. Cain a man who killed his brother is in the presence of God and God still show him kindness.
I find this very interesting.
